Content Strategy & Copywriting

The right content,
properly written.

We work out what your content needs to explain, then plan it and write it: website copy, case studies, guides and the material your sales conversations lean on. Bring a finished brief, a pile of existing material or just the knowledge in your team’s heads. We can start from any of them.

Work out what earns its place.

A content plan isn’t a list of article titles. It starts with what your buyers need to know, what the business wants to be chosen for and what you already have. The answer might be fewer pieces, done better.
The verdicts
Every existing piece gets one.

Keep. Clarify. Update. Combine. Replace.

And where there’s a real gap,

write new.

The calls look like this

A service page that needs to say who it suits and what’s included.

Two overlapping guides that would be more use as one.

A strong project that deserves a proper account of the challenge, the work and the evidence.

One missing explanation that matters more than another general article.

What you get

A prioritised content plan. For each piece: what to produce or improve, who it’s for, what it has to get across, the evidence it needs and where it will live. Gathered into one working document, we call that a Content Playbook. If you already have strategy, voice guidance or approved copy, we build on it. You don’t pay to recreate what you own.

If the plan exposes an unresolved question about the offer itself, we name that specific decision. We won’t paper over it with polished sentences, and we won’t quietly turn a writing job into a positioning project.

From subject knowledge to finished copy.

Your people know the subject. Our job is to make it usable. That comes down to six editorial choices: pick the main point, put the information in the order a reader needs it, explain the terms that need explaining, back up the claims, cut the repetition and make the next step clear.

We work from your existing documents, conversations with your subject experts and agreed research, and we make that input easy to give. We can’t invent product facts, client results, qualifications or expertise, and we won’t.

Website copy is written for the page it will live on: what the page is for, what each section has to do and where it links next. It fits the design. It doesn’t arrive as one long document for a designer to untangle.

Where there’s a search brief, we write to it, and the result still has to read like a person wrote it for a person. Not every heading needs to be a keyword.

Different questions need different content.

Understanding the offer

Homepage, company profile, service and landing-page copy.
The writing has to settle what’s offered, for whom and why it matters.

Deciding if you’re the right choice

Case studies, project accounts, capability statements and comparisons.
It has to supply the evidence and practical detail the decision rests on.

Learning or preparing

Articles, guides, FAQs and useful resources.
It has to leave the reader knowing something, or able to do something.

Continuing a conversation

Sales-support material and email copy.
It has to answer the question still open and point to a sensible next step.
Case studies are written from substantiated material, with permission. We don’t invent testimonials or reconstruct results nobody can verify. And to be clear about scope: writing is what we produce. Design, video, photography, licensing, loading content into your CMS and distribution are agreed separately where you need them.

What better writing makes clear.

A made-up example. Both versions are invented to show the editing. It isn’t a client’s copy, and it isn’t evidence of a result.
Before
With over 15 years of experience, we deliver end-to-end facilities solutions1 tailored to the unique needs of each client, leveraging our skilled team3 and proven processes to ensure optimal outcomes4 across a wide range of commercial environments2.
After
We maintain commercial buildings: air conditioning, electrical and plumbing1, under one contract. Most of our clients run offices, clinics and retail sites2. We’ve done this for 15 years, and our technicians are employees, not subcontractors3.

Margin notes

1
The offer became explicit. “Facilities solutions” turned into what they actually maintain.
2
The reader can see themselves. “A wide range of commercial environments” became offices, clinics and retail sites.
3
A vague claim became a checkable fact. “Skilled team” became employed technicians.
4
A promise came out. “Ensure optimal outcomes” couldn’t be supported, so it went.
Every fact in the second version came from the business. Nothing was added to make it sound better. The first version just hadn’t used what the business already knew.

Get the content finished and ready to use.

Content projects tend to stall in review, not in writing.

WRITINGREVIEW
So before anyone drafts, we agree:
You check the business facts and the technical accuracy. We own the quality and coherence of the writing. Feedback should settle the brief, not pile up preferences. If a requested change alters the audience, the offer or the scope, we’ll call it that, so it’s a decision and not a drift.
Handover is organised, approved copy, labelled page by page or asset by asset, with links and the agreed extras. For web work that can include headings, calls to action and metadata. Publishing and layout checks are agreed separately, or as part of the wider website project.
For content that will date, the plan can name an owner and a trigger for review. That isn’t a retainer. A defined website-copy project can simply end when the copy is approved.

Plan it. Write it. Improve it.

Plan the work

Set the priorities and the briefs before committing to production.

Write the content

Work from an agreed brief to create what’s needed.

Improve what exists

Edit, restructure or update material worth keeping.

They’re ways in, not packages, and many projects combine them. The work can stand alone or sit inside a website project, an SEO engagement or a Growth Partnership, scoped once so nothing is charged twice.

The first conversation is free.
Can you work from our existing strategy or draft?

Yes. We review it against the brief and keep what’s useful.

Only when the planning is needed. A clear writing job can go ahead on its own.

From your sources and your subject experts, with agreed research where it helps. Your specialists check the accuracy.

That’s the aim. We work from your voice guidance and approved examples, and tune it through the agreed review rounds.

We write to an agreed search brief. Keyword research and ongoing SEO have their own scope.

Your proposal says whether delivery is copy only, or includes loading it into your CMS, layout checks or distribution.
